Biography

The Thoracic Surgery Program at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics offers comprehensive services, state-of-the-art diagnosis, and surgical treatment of chest diseases using innovative and minimally invasive techniques. Board-certified thoracic surgeons on the medical staff have extensive expertise in managing the full spectrum of benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) diseases of the lung and airway, esophagus, mediastinum and chest wall as well as lung transplantation, lung volume reduction surgery and ECMO for advanced lung disease.
