Biography

Dr Michael Charles is fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma. He is board certified in trauma surgery/ surgical critical care and general surgery. Dr Charles is the Trauma Medical Director at St John trauma center in Tulsa, OK. St John hospital is one of two A.C.S. verified trauma centers in the state of Oklahoma. Additionally, Dr Charles is an Associate Professor in the Oklahoma University (Tulsa), department of surgery residency teaching program and actively involved in clinical research. He is currently the Vice-chair for the Oklahoma Committee on Trauma (cot) of the American College of Surgeons.
