Muneeb Ur Rehman is a 3rd-year MBBS student at King Edward Medical University,Lahore and currently serves as the Medical Student Representative of the ACS Pakistan Chapter. In this role, he engages medical students in ACS activities, establishes surgery interest groups across Pakistan, expands access to ACS resources, and promotes surgery as a rewarding career path. With a portfolio in surgery, medical education, research, and leadership, Muneeb envisions a future rooted in clinical excellence, academic rigor, and social impact. His surgical curiosity was shaped through hands-on observations of surgical procedures and various operations throughout medical school. Building on this, he has directed his early research toward CT surgery while also coordinating initiatives such as Sutures Across Seas: Exploring Surgery Abroad and the VOH Free Medical Camp—bridging surgical exposure with student engagement. Muneeb is enrolled in structured research programs and has submitted his first work. As Joint Secretary of the National Research and Innovation Conference-2025, he helped design and manage an event that engaged over 1,300 participants, cultivating a research culture that strengthens surgical science in Pakistan. An advocate for communication and leadership, he has earned Best Speaker and BD awards at National and International debating forums and now serves as Assistant Secretary Parliamentary at KEDS. He also holds leadership roles as LPO at IFMSA, VP of KEMCARDIO (Cardiovascular Interest Group), Event Head Manager at KEMCISION (Surgery Interest Group). He has coordinated workshops such as BLS training (160+ participants) and US Match webinars—efforts that equip future surgeons with critical skills early in their careers. Curious, persistent, and empathetic, Muneeb continues to explore opportunities in surgery, research and medical education—with the vision of becoming a surgeon who not only treats but also teaches, leads, and inspires in line with ACS values.
