As the Director of the University of Wisconsin Health Breast Center; I work with our multi-disciplinary team to develop a nationally and regionally recognized Breast Care program. My primary research interest is clinical trials and translational research which seek to define novel means to treat patients with breast cancer. I also work collaboratively with several basic science researchers within the University of Wisconsin to support innovative breast cancer therapeutics. Current clinical trials include evaluation of a novel optical imaging device for breast tumor margin assesment as well as novel prevention methods and treatments.
