If you are a surgical volunteer or registered nonprofit organization seeking supplies and equipment for your medical missions, please inquire with each organization to determine whether they may be able to assist you.

If you are interested in donating, please contact the organizations prior to shipping any materials to be sure that your donation can be utilized. Please note this list specifically includes those organizations that redistribute medical goods to medical volunteers and organizations; as such, there may be other organizations within your state that accept medical donations.

Resources and Guidelines

  • USAID Denton Program
    The Denton Program allows private U.S. citizens and organizations to use space available on U.S. military cargo planes to transport humanitarian goods, such as clothing, food, medical and educational supplies, and agricultural equipment and vehicles, to countries in need. 
  • PQMD: Partnership for Quality Medical Donations
    The PQMD and its members, in alliance with related organizations, is dedicated to the development, dissemination and adherence to high standards in the delivery of medical products to under-served people and disaster victims around the world.
  • WHO Guidelines for Donations of Medicines and Medical Equipment
    The World Health Organization has provided guidelines for the donation of medicines and the donation of medical equipment. They are intended to enhance donation efforts and to assist in the development of national or institutional guidelines by governments and organizations, with an emphasis on developing country health systems.

Please note: The ACS and Operation Giving Back do not accept or provide donations of supplies or equipment. Please contact the individual organizations listed if you are interested in obtaining or donating goods.
