The ACS National Surgeon Scientist Program will offer competitive funding opportunities for faculty members within their first 1–5 years of appointment and whose research focus is in a cancer‐related disease and is basic or translational science research. Applications are due

ACS Faculty Research Fellowships
The ACS is offering two-year faculty research fellowships to surgeons entering academic careers in surgery or a surgical specialty. The fellowship is to assist a surgeon in the establishment of a new and independent research program.
ACS/SVS Foundation/NIH Research Career Development Award
The American College of Surgeons has announced a program that will provide supplemental funding to individuals who receive a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Mentored Clinical Scientist Development Award (K08/K23).
George H. A. Clowes, Jr., MD, FACS, Memorial Research Career Development Award
This award is offered through the generosity of The Clowes Fund, Inc., of Indianapolis, IN. Its purpose is to provide support for the research of a promising young surgical investigator.
ACS/Triological Society Clinical Scientist Development Award
The American College of Surgeons and the Triological Society's combined competitive grant program provides supplemental funding to otolaryngologists-head and neck surgeons who have received a new NIH Mentored Clinical Scientist Development Award (K08/K23) or have an existing award with a minimum of 3 years remaining in the funding period as of October 1 of the application year.
