What You Should Know About Your Roster

  • It is updated in real time so it reflects ACS members assigned to your Chapter as of the date you run the report.
  • You should download the Roster on a quarterly basis and compare to your Roster to identify:
    • Fellows who have not yet joined the Chapter
    • Associate Fellows, Residents, Medical Students and Affiliate members who have not yet joined the Chapter
    • Fellows whose ACS membership may have been discontinued or who have resigned (folks on your Roster no longer on the ACS Roster)

Tips on how to approach Initiates assigned to your Chapter

  • Send them a congratulatory email from the Chapter President before and after the Clinical Congress.
  • Invite them to your Chapter’s reception if you are hosting one at the Clinical Congress.
  • Include a Congratulations; listing their names on your Chapter Website.
  • Offer a special membership incentive for them to join your Chapter before the end of the year.
