Membership and Community

Medical Students

Medical student membership in the ACS signifies a personal commitment to furthering your professional development and a commitment to knowing more about this exciting and challenging profession. We work continuously to comprehensively address the surgical education needs in surgery for medical students during all 4 years of medical school, support educational efforts that facilitate the transition from medical school to residency training, and encourage the involvement of medical students in the educational activities of the ACS.
