Save the Dates: Annual ACS Surgical Simulation Summit Takes Place March 3–5

The 15th Annual American College of Surgeons (ACS) Surgical Simulation Summit will take place in-person at the Swissôtel in downtown Chicago, IL, on March 3–5, 2022. The Summit brings together surgeons and simulation center directors, educators, administrators, engineers, and researchers to share best practices, present innovative research, and discuss the latest advances in simulation-based surgical education and training.

A special keynote presentation, panel sessions, scientific papers, posters, and interactive workshops are planned for the meeting. Concurrent sessions, including a special track for simulation center personnel, will be offered so attendees can maximize their meeting experience. On Friday afternoon, ACS will partner with the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) to offer a collaborative session.

Attendees also will have the opportunity to mingle with colleagues old and new during a networking reception on Friday evening. The meeting concludes on Saturday afternoon.

The annual Surgeons and Engineers: A Dialogue on Surgical Simulation will directly proceed the Summit on Wednesday, March 2, also at the Swissôtel.

Registration for the Summit will open in late December. Please contact Cathy Sormalis at csormalis@facs.org with questions about the meeting.
