Join Us Tonight for Taste of the City

October 25, 2023

Boston cream pie, Boston baked beans, Boston brown bread, Yankee pot roast, Fenway franks—and of course, New England clam chowdah: the city of Boston and surrounding states are famous for a rich and deeply cherished culinary heritage.

For Clinical Congress attendees who want to sample some of this cuisine, there is great news. The Taste of the City makes this possible without having to leave the conference.

Meeting participants and their families are invited to this complimentary event to close out their conference experience. Taste of the City 2023 will be tonight in Exhibit Hall B2. Food, drinks, entertainment, and camaraderie are on the menu from 5:30 to 7:30 pm to celebrate the conclusion of the College’s 109th Clinical Congress.

This year, Taste of the City is themed “Home of Many Firsts.” The event will highlight Boston’s status as first in technology, with a station where all attendees can use real Polaroid cameras to take and share photographs of the festivities. In addition, the Boston Public Garden and Boston Marathon—each of which were the first of their kind in the US—will be celebrated.

The menu will feature several savory and sweet local Boston flavors, and servings of tea in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Offerings for a range of palates, including vegan and gluten-free options, will be served throughout the hall, and food items that contain shellfish will be labeled to ensure safety for attendees with allergies.

In addition, a DJ will spin dance tunes, and life-size Operation, deluxe Jenga, and other games will be on hand for those who wish to play. Come enjoy networking with colleagues, fun with friends and family, and bites from Boston and beyond.

Registration is not required for Taste of the City, and as with the entirety of the Wednesday schedule, casual dress is encouraged.
