As the training and technical assistance provider of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, the American Cancer Society will host the webinar “Advocacy vs Lobbying: What’s the Difference?” at 3:00 pm ET on December 12. Leading experts from the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and Susan G. Komen will discuss the difference between advocacy and lobbying, effective messaging strategies, and data sources that can support advocacy efforts in cancer control.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
