Update on the 2024 National QI Projects

Be on the lookout for additional information coming soon regarding the 2024 ACS Cancer Programs national quality improvement projects.

  • Year 2 Breaking Down Top Barriers: Both COC and NAPBC-accredited programs are eligible to participate in this initiative and earn two standard credits.
  • COC Standard 5.8 Lung NODES (Nodal, Operative, Dissection, Evaluation and Staging): COC-accredited programs are eligible to participate in this initiative to earn credit for CoC Standard 7.3 and toward CoC Standard 5.8. More information will be released shortly regarding an upcoming informational webinar on this project.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
