New STORE 2024 Data Items Effective January 1, 2024

October 19, 2023

The Standards for Oncology Registry Entry (STORE v2024) manual, effective for cases diagnosed January 1, 2024, has been released. The latest version was released on August 1.

The manual is located on the NCDB Call for Data web page under Registry Manuals. Details on the changes can be found in the Summary of Changes section. Contact ncdb@facs.org with any questions.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
