ACS CRP Shares Interim Results of Clinical Trial

At the 2023 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, the ACS Cancer Research Program (ACS CRP) recently shared interim analysis results from the phase III cluster randomized Cancer Care Delivery Research clinical trial A231601CD Surgical care and outcomes in older patients with cancer through implementation of a pre-surgical toolkit (OPTI-Surg). Conducted in collaboration with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, the OPTI-Surg trial tested the effectiveness of a surgical prehabilitation toolkit for improving surgical care and outcomes for patients undergoing major cancer surgery.
