NCDB Releases New Submission Compliance Report

The new NCDB Submission Compliance Report is now available in the Rapid Cancer Reporting System (RCRS). The Submission Compliance Report plays an important role in the NCDB transition away from the annual Call for Data in 2024.

This report provides the total number of edit-free complete cases submitted to the RCRS though the required monthly submissions, with an end goal of submitting at least 90% of the average of the previous three years total case count by 11:59 pm CT on December 31, 2024.

It is important to review the Submission Compliance Report often throughout the calendar year to ensure your monthly RCRS uploads are on track to meet the end of year goal (shown by the yellow line in the report).

As a reminder, there will be NO Call for Data for dx year 2023 cases this year. Sites will be expected to meet the 90% goal by submitting monthly their newly diagnosed or updated cases up to and including all of diagnosis year 2023 free from NCDB edits by 11:59 pm CT on December 31, 2024. Programs should ensure that RCRS uploader access is available. The primary contact will need to submit a request for access if needed by December 15.
