New Content Areas Are Added to the 2025 Cancer Conference Call for Abstracts

September 5, 2024

The 2025 ACS Cancer Conference Planning Committee has added three new content areas to the Call for Abstracts. The Committee is focusing on abstracts that address:

  • Equity of care and the impact of social economic status on care delivery and outcomes in CoC-, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers- (NAPBC), and NAPRC-accredited programs
  • Quality improvement in patient care at accredited programs of the CoC-, NAPRC-, and NAPBC-accredited programs
  • Research and analysis of National Cancer Database data using the Participant User Files

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
