Dr. Jennifer Wargo Is Featured Speaker at CoC Oncology Lecture

This year’s CoC Oncology Lecture, “Breaking the Mold: Chartering a New Roadmap to Impact Care Through Science,” is scheduled for 12:45 pm on Wednesday, October 25 at Clinical Congress 2023 in Boston, MA. Jennifer Wargo, MD, MMSc, from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center will present and CoC Chair Timothy W. Mullett, MD, MBA, FACS, will serve as Presiding Officer and Introducer.

Also taking place on October 25:

  • 8:00–9:30 am: PS301: Management of the Most Common Type of Breast Cancer: Elderly Woman with Early-Stage Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Cancer
  • 9:45–11:15 am: PS309: Update on Targeted and Immunotherapies for Breast Cancer

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
