Cancer Surgery Standards Program

Register Today for Thyroid Cancer Surgery Webinar

The Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP), in collaboration with the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, will host an educational webinar for surgeons on the technical standards for thyroid surgery. The webinar will discuss evidence-based operative standards for the performance of thyroid surgery as outlined in the Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery, Volume 2. Preoperative considerations for surgical planning and standards for thyroidectomy and lymphadenectomy also will be featured. In addition, the discussion will include insights into clinical management of thyroid cancer through case study review.

The webinar is applicable to general surgeons, surgical oncologists, and trainees with an interest in thyroid cancer surgery. All surgeons who attend the webinar will be eligible to receive 1.5 continuing medical education credits.
