National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers

Publication Version of the 2024 NAPBC Standards Now Available

February 22, 2024

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) has released the publication version of the revised 2024 accreditation standards, Optimal Resources for Breast Care (2024 Standards).

The revised standards were first released December 6, 2023, in a temporary format and are now available on the NAPBC website in the final design and layout.

The following resources supporting the revised standards are also available for NAPBC-accredited programs in the Resources section of QPort:

  • Updated changelog documenting clarification edits and language updates
  • Updated and expanded version of NAPBC 2024 Standards: Frequently Asked Questions

Questions regarding the NAPBC accreditation standards should be submitted through the CAnswer Forum.

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
