Commission on Cancer

CoC Seeking Accreditation Site Reviewers

The Commission on Cancer (CoC) is seeking physicians to join its accreditation site reviewer team.

Site reviewers will visit hospitals throughout the US and Puerto Rico in person and virtually to review cancer programs seeking accreditation or re-accreditation with the CoC. Site reviewers will meet and present to key leadership at each program, review charts and cases, and assess program compliance with the requirements for all standards.

Qualified candidates must be actively practicing physicians who specialize in cancer care and employed or affiliated with a CoC-accredited program. Once you have reviewed the minimum qualifications to be a CoC Site Reviewer,  please complete and submit the application.

Interacting with multiple programs across the country, sharing best practices and ideas, and educating programs to encourage improvements are all benefits of being a CoC site reviewer.

Contact CoC@facs.org if you have any questions or would like to learn more about becoming a site reviewer.
