National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer

NAPRC 2026 Standards Are Now Available

January 23, 2025

The NAPRC is pleased to announce the official launch of its 2026 accreditation standards, Optimal Resources for Rectal Cancer Care (2026 Standards).  

The new standards are now available on the NAPRC website. The standards have been updated to incorporate non-operative management and local excision treatment options for rectal cancer while providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. 

Information supporting the official launch of Optimal Resources for Rectal Cancer Care (2026 Standards) is also available on the NAPRC website, including: 

  • Implementation and compliance timelines 
  • Information on future site visits 

Resources supporting the 2026 Standards for NAPRC-accredited programs, available in the Resources section of the Quality Portal, include:
