Nine prominent surgeons awarded Honorary Fellowship in the ACS

Honorary Fellowship in the American College of Surgeons was awarded to nine prominent surgeons from around the world at the October 3 Convocation at the virtual Clinical Congress 2020. The granting of Honorary Fellowships is one of the highlights of Clinical Congress. This year’s recipients were as follows.

Sir Rickman Godlee, president of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, was awarded the first Honorary Fellowship in the ACS during the College’s first Convocation in 1913.
