Attend Annual Business Meeting of Members at Clinical Congress

Each year, the ACS holds an important business meeting for members. The following is an invitation from the ACS Secretary:

All members are welcomed and encouraged to attend the Annual Business Meeting of Members of the ACS on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 4:15 pm in Room 104ABC of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. This session is in accordance with Article I, Section 6, of the Bylaws.  

During the meeting, the ACS Officers and Governors will be elected, and reports from officials will be presented. There will also be items of general interest to the Members that will be included on the agenda. Members are respectfully urged to attend.

• ACS Foundation Board of Directors Chair Danny R. Robinette, MD, FACS

The meeting also includes award presentations:

• Advocate of the Year Award
• Outstanding Mentor of the Year Award
• Joan L. and Julius H. Jacobson II Promising Investigator Award
• Jameson L. Chassin Award for Professionalism in General Surgery
• Resident Award for Exemplary Teaching

In addition, attendees will meet and hear remarks from the newly installed ACS President-Elect.

You must be registered for Clinical Congress 2023 to take part.  The meeting will be available only to members attending the conference in-person.
