Trauma Surgeons: Apply for ACS/AAST International Scholarship by Nov. 16

The ACS and The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) offer a scholarship of $5,000 that provides an international scholar with an opportunity to attend the AAST annual meeting, as well as visit one or two Level I Trauma Centers to learn about the standards for a trauma program and the importance of multidisciplinary acute care surgery care. 

The awardee will receive complimentary registration for the annual meeting of the AAST and to one available postgraduate course at the meeting. Assistance will be provided to obtain preferential housing in economical hotels in the AAST meeting and Trauma Center/TQIP cities. Hotel and travel expenses will be the responsibility of the awardee, to be funded from the scholarship award.

The ACS is accepting applications for the 2026 meeting, but don’t delay—the deadline to submit your application is November 16, 2025.
