The ACS is offering a limited number of scholarships to US-based ACS Resident members who are interested in attending the 2025 Leadership & Advocacy Summit, February 28–March 3 in Washington, DC. This dual meeting offers leaders and advocates specialized educational sessions focused on effective surgeon leadership, interactive advocacy training, and coordinated visits to Congressional offices.

The Leadership & Advocacy Summit Resident Travel Award will cover up to $500 in housing and transportation costs. This may also include your registration fees, but it may NOT cover food/beverage charges as all meals are provided at the conference. You must be a US-based Resident member in good standing with ACS to be eligible for one of these scholarships.

The deadline to apply is Friday, November 14, and the application must include:

  • Your institution and year of residency
  • A summary (no longer than one page) explaining why this opportunity interests you, what you hope to gain from it, and how you plan to utilize the knowledge you obtain
  • Your proposed travel dates

Learn more and apply.
