The ACS Fundamentals of Surgery Curriculum^® (ACS FSC^®) delivers more than 100 interactive, case-based scenarios across essential content areas, helping interns of all surgical specialties build confidence and critical thinking skills from day one.

For Senior Residents

The ACS Senior Resident Readiness Assessment (ACS SRRA) evaluates complex decision-making using a validated key-features methodology, providing actionable feedback to support the transition to greater autonomy. SRRA administration has been moved 3 months earlier than in 2025 to provide timelier results.

The ACS Cognitive Simulations: Cases Essential to Surgical Practice (CogSim) curriculum further strengthens advanced clinical reasoning through realistic patient scenarios spanning core areas of general surgery.
