Registration is open for the Advanced Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy Course, an interactive, hands-on course designed for practicing surgeons, trainees, and other healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

The in-person portion of the course, Tuesday, June 2, at the Cleveland Clinic Simulation and Advanced Skills Center in Cleveland, Ohio, includes a four-hour hands-on skills laboratory, providing participants with the opportunity to practice diagnostic and therapeutic techniques using a combination of dry models and porcine tissue to reinforce learning and support clinical application.

Two weeks prior to the course, participants will have access to recorded didactic lectures addressing current recommendations and evolving practices in the evaluation and management of dyspepsia, Barrett’s esophagus, gastrointestinal bleeding, strictures, complex colonic polyps, and endoscopic management of leaks, perforations, and fistulas, as well as patient preparation, sedation, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in colonoscopy.

The price of the course is $2,130. Space is limited, so register today.

This course is part of the ACS regional hands-on surgical skills courses, which are designed to provide attendees with practical training and experience in various surgical techniques and procedures. Courses are targeted at practicing surgeons and residents who wish to enhance their surgical skills and proficiency and are held at ACS Accredited Education Institutes.
