Discover the latest in surgical technology and experience educational content firsthand by attending an in-person Didactic or Surgical Skills Course at Clinical Congress 2025 in Chicago, Illinois, October 4–7. Choose from a wide array of topics, focusing on acquisition of knowledge and skills through best practices in education and training methods.

Most of the Didactic and Skills Courses have two parts. This multipart approach is designed to promote learning and retention of course content while increasing interaction between learners and faculty. Select courses also will have an additional follow-up video conference session after Clinical Congress.

All Didactic and Surgical Skills Courses are ticketed and require a separate fee in addition to registering for Clinical Congress.

In keeping with a renewed focus on how technology is transforming practice, robotic surgery is a particular focus of the courses this year, so be sure to register for the following:

  • DC06 - MIS Masters Course: Advanced Minimally Invasive and Robotic Techniques for Emergency General Surgery
  • *New* DC08 - Emerging Robotic Systems and Telesurgery: A New Humanitarian Frontier for Surgical Training, Education and Patient Care
  • SC01 - Essentials of Robotic Hernia Surgery—Didactic and Hands-On Course on Inguinal and Ventral Hernias for New Robotic Surgeons

In addition, a new practice management course will be offered:

  • DC09 Essentials of Successful Practice Management: Leadership Beyond the Operating Room
