The ACS International Relations Committee offers global traveling fellowship exchanges to support education-based travel to various countries, with Fellows from the US and Canada visiting international locations and a Fellow from those locations visiting North America. The deadline to apply for two of these fellowships is July 28:
- Traveling Fellowship to Australia and New Zealand: The Fellow will spend a minimum of 2–3 weeks in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). They will attend and participate in the Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Perth, Australia, attend and address the ANZ ACS Chapter meeting during that congress, and visit at least two medical centers in Australia and New Zealand to share clinical and scientific expertise with local surgeons.
- Traveling Fellowship to Germany: The Fellow will spend a minimum of 2 weeks in Germany. They will attend and participate in the annual meeting of the German Society of Surgery, attend the German ACS Chapter meeting during the annual conference, and visit at least two medical centers in Germany (in cities other than the annual meeting location) to share clinical and scientific expertise with local surgeons.
Specific itineraries will be finalized after the Fellows are chosen. Apply today to take part in this unique, enriching international opportunity.
