The ACS Quality and Safety Conference is 2 weeks away.

Surgeons and their team members are invited to participate in the conference, July 17–20 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California, and immerse themselves in sessions on evidence-based quality improvement (QI) strategies, practical QI tools, and peer-drive insights that can immediately be put into practice.

All ACS Quality Programs will be represented—from the flagship National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and Cancer Programs to the newer Emergency General Surgery and Geriatric Surgery Verification Programs. In addition, a special session is available for surgeons who want to focus on career advancement in the surgical quality arena.

This year, the keynote speaker is Jack Becker, a highly decorated US Navy fighter pilot, who will share his experiences and expertise on dramatically reducing errors and optimizing performance.

Additionally, a welcome reception will be held at the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

Up to 22 CME credits will be available, some of which may meet regulatory mandates.
