The FACS credential is a mark of excellence for which Fellows of the American College of Surgeons should proudly display on their business cards, lab coat, website, and letterhead. Two new posters were recently added to the options that let your patients know that you are a Fellow who is dedicated to the highest ideals of skill and professionalism.

Follow these steps to download the artwork:

  1. Log in to your facs.org account.
  2. Once logged in, click on My Dashboard (or your initial, the My Profile) in the upper-right corner.
  3. When you are in the Surgeon's Dashboard, navigate to your profile by clicking on your member details card on the right rail or on the bottom left, select My Profile. (See image below).
  4. At the top of your profile, there is a FACS Artwork button. Click on it to access the guidelines and assets available to Fellows. (See image below).

If you’re not yet a Fellow and qualify to be inducted during Clinical Congress 2026 this September, applications are being accepted through January 16 for surgeons outside of the United States. US surgeons are eligible to apply through February 2.
