The ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators Fireside Chat Series connects Academy membership and others in the surgical education community with renowned experts for open dialogue driven by audience questions. Tomorrow, February 18 at 7:00 pm CT, you are invited to join renowned orthopaedic surgeon L. Scott Levin, MD, FACS, as he discusses lessons learned.
Dr. Levin, a Past-Chair of the ACS Board of Regents, is the Paul B. Magnuson Professor of Bone and Joint Surgery, chairman emeritus department of orthopaedic surgery, and professor of surgery (plastic surgery) at Penn Medicine. He is also the director of the Penn Musculoskeletal and Rheumatology Service Line.
An accomplished clinician, his expertise focuses on surgery of the hand and upper extremity, reconstructive microsurgical techniques for extremity reconstruction and limb salvage. Dr. Levin also actively participates in senior leadership activities of many international and national professional societies and associations. Currently, Dr. Levin is editor-in-chief of the journal Orthoplastic Surgery, further advancing the academic foundation of the specialty he pioneered.
