The 50th anniversary of the ACS Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®) program is in 2028. This milestone is an opportunity to honor the visionaries who launched the transformative trauma education program, educators and students who have carried its mission forward, and countless patients whose care has been improved through this worldwide lifesaving program.

The ACS invites you to join this celebration by contributing your story ideas—reflections, memories, photos, and videos. Was there an early champion who helped bring ATLS to your country, state, or region? How about educators or students who inspired you? Share the ways that ATLS has strengthened trauma systems at every level and advanced patient care across the globe.

Your submissions will help commemorate this extraordinary legacy and shine a light on the enduring impact of ATLS.
