ACS Joins ALL IN Coalition to Advance Surgeon Mental Health and Well-Being

The ACS has joined the ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare coalition, a national initiative led by the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation. This coalition is dedicated to advancing the mental health and well-being of healthcare workers across the country. 

The ALL IN coalition is working to:

  • Eliminate barriers to accessing mental health care, including stigma and fear of professional repercussions. 
  • Promote evidence-based solutions to improve workplace culture. 
  • Advocate for policy change that protects and prioritizes the well-being of healthcare professionals. 

As a member of the coalition, the ACS will collaborate with national leaders to elevate surgeon and healthcare worker voices, share best practices and resources, and continue to foster a culture of wellbeing.

You are encouraged to learn more about the ALL IN coalition and explore how you can support well-being in your own practice or institution as the Coalition seeks to make prioritizing healthcare worker well-being a standard expectation.
