All members of the surgical team are invited to participate in this year’s Clinical Congress, October 4-7, in Chicago, Illinois.
Early bird registration rates through Monday, August 18, offer the best value; residents and medical students can register for free until then.
It is the first time in a decade that Clinical Congress will be held in the “Windy City,” and the ACS has further enhanced the program to offer high-impact sessions across all surgical disciplines, practice settings, and career stages.
The Saturday–Tuesday schedule helps surgeons maximize their learning and networking—all while spending fewer days away from the hospital, clinic, and patients.
Thematic sessions this year will focus on endocrine, hernia, trauma/orthopaedics, artificial intelligence, and surgical education, while multidisciplinary sessions will explore limb salvage, adolescent bariatric surgery, thyroid disorders, and acute mesenteric ischemia.
By attending the in-person meeting, you have access to approximately 200 CME credits through onsite learning and on-demand sessions that are included with registration. Additionally, specific sessions are available for self-assessment credit, while others address specific regulatory mandates for state licensure and ACS accreditation/verification programs. Use the interactive Program Planner to create a personalized itinerary that meets your specific needs and interests.
As you plan your travel to Chicago, please note that you are invited to the new Saturday evening Windy City Welcome Reception for all Clinical Congress attendees. Sunday morning will feature the Opening Ceremony and begin the first of eight Named Lectures, more than 100 Panel sessions, 75 Scientific Forum Sessions, 45 Meet-the-Expert Sessions, 24 Video-Based Education Sessions, four Great Debate Sessions, and much more.
Throughout the meeting, you are encouraged to participate in invaluable networking and wellness events, as well as walk through the Exhibit Hall to engage with industry representatives and see the latest medical technology, devices, and equipment that can help advance your practice.
If you have any questions or want assistance registering a group, please reach the Convention & Meetings team at registration@facs.org.
