Webinar Discusses New Recognized Leader in Geriatric Surgery Designation

Join the ACS and The Leapfrog Group for an introduction to the new Recognized Leader in Geriatric Surgery designation, launching in 2027. 

This free webinar will walk hospital leaders through the eligibility requirements—including participation in the ACS Geriatric Surgery Verification (GSV) Program, achieving an A or B Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, and demonstrating strong performance on key patient safety measures from the Leapfrog Hospital Survey.

Attendees will learn what is involved in the verification process, how the designation aligns with existing Leapfrog and ACS standards, and the steps hospitals can take now to prepare.
