Apply for ACS Volunteer Committee Opportunities by June 5

The ACS, as The House of Surgery^®, welcomes and encourages the involvement of members from all surgical specialties and career stages to help advance its mission, To Heal All with Skill and Trust, by serving on a committee.

Applications are now being accepted for volunteer committee appointments beginning in the fall of 2026.

Participation on ACS committees is inclusive and open to members in good standing. These committees support the work of the ACS and provide meaningful professional development and networking opportunities. More than 30 ACS Committees are seeking volunteer, including, among others:

• ACS Foundation Board of Directors
• ACS-AEI Accreditation Review Committee
• Commission on Cancer
• Committee on Ethics
• Committee on Trauma
• Health Policy and Advocacy Group
