Register for June Regional Surgical Skills Courses at Reduced Member Rate

The ACS, through its Accredited Education Institutes (AEIs), provides regional hands-on surgical skills courses that offer attendees practical training and experience in various surgical techniques and procedures. The courses, which include a recorded didactic lecture portion 2 weeks before the in-person surgical skills labs, are designed for practicing surgeons, fellows, and residents who wish to enhance their surgical skills and proficiency. 

Regional Surgical Skills Courses are planned throughout the US at ACS-AEIs to bring hands-on educational opportunities to learners, with three June courses currently available for registration. ACS Members can register for these courses at a reduced rate of $1,775 per course: 

  • Advanced Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy
    Tuesday, June 2 at the Cleveland Clinic Simulation and Advanced Skills Center in Ohio
    This interactive, hands-on course is designed for practicing surgeons, trainees, and other healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
  • Community-Based Comprehensive Wound Care
    Friday, June 5 at the STRATUS Center for Medical Simulation/Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts
    This interactive, hands-on course is designed for practicing surgeons, trainees, and other healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in managing a wide range of wound types.
  • Fundamentals of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
    Friday, June 19 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock
    This hybrid course is designed for general and breast surgeons with no prior experience in oncoplastic surgery and includes a review of the fundamental elements of oncoplastic breast surgery, including applied anatomy, imaging, patient assessment, and patient selection.
