Jennifer Choi, MD, FACS

Dr. Jennifer Choi recently became the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education at Indiana University School of Medicine. She served as the General Surgery Program Director at IU from 2014-2022. To fuel her passion for surgical education, Dr. Choi is pursuing her Masters in Health Professions Education. Her education research includes transitions to residency and competency based surgical education. She is active in APDS as a previous Program Chair and currently serves as the Treasurer of that organization. Further she is active in the American College of Surgeons as a member of the Clinical Congress Owen H. Wangansteen Scientific Forum Committee, Resident Selection Committee and the Faculty Development Committee. Dr. Choi’s clinical practice includes bariatric, foregut and hernia surgery.
