In response to recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, the ACS released the following statement:
On behalf of the ACS, we want to offer heartfelt condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquakes and aftershocks in Turkey and Syria. We also want to share our support of and offer appreciation to the first responders and others who are caring for the massive numbers of people who are injured because of this tragedy. Hospitals are overwhelmed and thousands of buildings have been destroyed.
As we wait to hear more about the extent of the damage and the number of casualties this disaster has caused, our ACS Operation Giving Back program is reaching out to our colleagues in the affected areas to see how we can help. When the time is right, we will share that information with you and ask for your assistance.
Sincerely,
