Free Access Clinic Registry

The Free Access Clinic Registry is an open-access database designed to support ACS members in identifying and collaborating with community-based clinics in the US that provide no-cost or low-cost surgical care. This registry enables surgeons to locate facilities that offer surgical and pre- and post-operative services to underserved populations, facilitating volunteerism, outreach, and continuity of care. Operation Access is a nonprofit organization that connects uninsured and low-income individuals in Northern California and the Central Valley with free surgical and specialty care donated by local medical professionals and partner facilities. Their volunteer network includes over 1,000 medical professionals and 87 hospitals, providing more than $20 million in donated care annually.
