Southwest Missouri Chapter of the American College of Surgeons was chartered in 1953 in order to bring together Fellows in southwest Missouri. The purpose of the chapter is to foster a close relationship with local Fellows of the College, to provide advocacy for surgeons and patients, to sponsor continuing education for chapter members, and to serve as a liaison to the American College of Surgeons. The Chapter sponsors fall and spring meetings, held in either Joplin or Springfield, Missouri, in order to encourage collegiality among members and to provide educational activities highlighting advances in surgical procedures.
Membership in the American College of Surgeons does not include automatic enrollment in the local chapter. Please contact the individual listed below to learn more about how to join your chapter today!
