SESAP 19 & SESAP 19 Advanced

SESAP 19 and SESAP 19 Advanced Features

SESAP® 19 and SESAP 19 Advanced were created using a rigorous, multistep process of question development and peer review by 57 expert practicing surgeons. The result is an indispensable, robust learning experience facilitating mastery of content and promoting lifelong excellence in surgery.

SESAP 19 contains 640 multiple-choice questions covering nine modules of general surgery, while SESAP 19 Advanced provides another 310 questions and 19 Controversial items in six modules, for a total of 969 questions for self-study.

Programs are integrated through one online platform. Move across SESAP modules at your own pace for seamless, self-directed learning.

SESAP 19 and SESAP 19 Advanced include the following:

  • All newly constructed, case-based, multiple-choice questions
  • Evidence-based explanations of why each answer is correct or incorrect
  • Thousands of supporting references from current literature, with links to PubMed abstracts and other online references
  • Hundreds of radiographic images, photographs, videos, and other educational media
  • Immediate feedback to facilitate mastery of content
  • Targeted search functionality for accessing desired information quickly
  • Personal performance summary and peer comparisons
  • Optimization for use on mobile devices with the same content and features as the desktop web version
