This hybrid course combines foundational online education with hands-on skills training, giving surgeons who are new to oncoplastic surgery practical techniques they can begin incorporating into their practice.

The course combines recorded didactic lectures, available two weeks before the course, with an in-person hands-on surgical skills lab in Atlanta.

What techniques will I practice?

Hands-on training will include skin marking, glandular displacement techniques for intramammary flaps, aesthetic incision placement, and periareolar, crescent, and donut mammaplasty techniques.

Does the course address mastectomy as well as breast-conserving surgery?

Yes. In addition to techniques designed to improve partial mastectomy outcomes, the course addresses management of excess skin and tissue during simple mastectomy without reconstruction and approaches to aesthetic flat closure.
