Program and Review Committee

Vision

The Program and Review Committee of the Consortium of American College of Surgeons Accredited Education Institutes (ACS-AEI) serves to enrich the surgical simulation community by assisting AEI staff and leadership with planning and implementing the ACS Surgical Simulation Summit that takes place annually in March.

Mission

Plan and implement educational offerings at the Annual ACS Surgical Simulation Summit: An International Multi-Professional Meeting, which include panel presentations, committee workshops, and other sessions or topics of special interest to the surgical simulation community
Work closely with the Director of the Division of Education and the AEI Program staff to select topics, formats, and faculty
Oversee the evaluation of the educational content and the identification of needs for the next annual meeting
Review and select abstracts for paper and poster presentation at the meeting
Identify potential sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities
