We look forward to seeing you in Chicago at the Swissotel (323 E. Wacker Drive) for the Annual ACS Surgical Simulation Summit! This email contains some important details about the meeting.

Badge Pickup

Badge pickup is available at registration starting at 7:00 am on March 2. The ACS registration desk is located on the 1st floor of the Swissotel Event Centre near the Zurich Ballroom, right outside the breakfast area.

Most meeting sessions will also take place in the same general area on the 1st floor of the Event Centre.

Agenda & Program Book

View the program book, which includes the meeting agenda. You will receive a hard copy of the book at the meeting.

Complimentary Internet Access

Wi-Fi will be available Wednesday through Saturday in the meeting rooms at the Swissotel. To connect, join the Swissotel_Meeting network and enter access code AEI2023. Complimentary Internet access will also be available in all guest rooms at the Swissotel booked within the ACS room block.

Exhibits

Please leave time to visit with our exhibitors! Exhibits will be open on Thursday, March 2 at 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and Friday, March 3 at 7:00 am – 6:30 pm. Dedicated exhibit hours are during all meals, breaks and the networking reception. There will be no exhibits on Saturday.

New this year is a special “ACS-AEI Committee Booth” where you can talk to committee members, hear about their projects, and learn about how to get involved. Hope to see you there!

Meals

We are pleased to offer a buffet breakfast and lunch for attendees on Thursday and Friday, as well as a breakfast buffet on Saturday. Coffee will be available during the designated breaks. We also hope you will join us for the Networking Reception on Friday at 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Light hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer will be served.

Meeting Attire

Business attire is appropriate for all meeting sessions.

Claiming CME Certificates and Certificates of Completion

Attendees will receive an email at the conclusion of the meeting on Saturday, March 4 with details on how to complete the meeting evaluation, claim credit and access certificates.  You may also refer to the CME information page in your program book (received onsite) for details on how to access the claiming site.

COVID-19 Policy

Masks are recommended and optional. All meeting attendees should be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations and recommended boosters per CDC recommendations. Attendees should test prior to travel and refrain from participating in ACS events if symptoms of COVID-19 or other illness exists.
