Call for High-Impact Clinical Trials & Studies

The High-Impact Clinical Trials & Studies session is designed to highlight important clinical trials and studies from all surgical disciplines, emphasizing research that will directly impact surgical science and practice. Both original research and research presented at other meetings within the past 6 months may be submitted. Work that is currently under review or accepted but will not be published before September 26, 2026, may be submitted.

Accepted abstracts will be presented during the High-Impact Clinical Trials & Studies session at Clinical Congress (Sunday, September 27, 2:30–4:00 pm ET). Presentations for this session will all be in-person oral presentations.

Note: Each author must have an ACS record to be included on the author string of a submission. If an author does not have an ACS record, they can create a new user. For additional support, access these instructions. Creating an account does not constitute joining ACS membership and incurring dues.

View the Submission Guidelines for more information. The submission site opens June 1, 2026.

Deadline: Wednesday, July 1, at 1:00 pm CT
