The ACS Division of Education and its Surgical Ergonomics Committee will host the Fourth ACS Surgical Ergonomics Hands-On Clinic for practicing surgeons and surgery residents in the Exhibit Hall.
Experienced ergonomic coaches will help participating surgeons learn about the recently revised ACS Surgical Ergonomics Recommendations and apply the recommendations in a simulated environment. In addition, a certified physical therapist will share different stretching exercise protocols that can be implemented in the operating room, between cases, or at home.
This educational program will be offered at no cost, but registration is required due to the limited number of participants allowed in each training session.
Practicing surgeons and surgical trainees attending Clinical Congress 2025 can register, at no cost, to attend the ACS Surgical Ergonomics Hands-On Clinic. During ACS Clinical Congress registration, interested participants can select to register for one of the eight sessions available during the Clinical Congress.
