October 5–7 | 6:00–7:00 am

Start your day with the physical, mental, and spiritual practice of yoga. The classes are appropriate for all experience levels including first-timers. A complimentary yoga mat, which will be yours to keep, and bottled water are provided. Sign up in the Clinical Congress registration dashboard.

Guided City Neighborhood Runs

October 5–7 | 6:00–7:00 am

For runners of all experience levels, the ACS Running Tours provide the perfect opportunity for a combination of sightseeing, exercise, and social interaction. Participants will be divided into small groups based on desired running pace and will be led by a professional guide on a 5K route throughout Chicago. Stops will be made along the way to enjoy the sights and water will be provided.

Step Challenge

Saturday, October 4 at 11:59 pm CT–Tuesday, October 7 at 11:59 pm CT

Free for all attendees and staff, whether you are at the meeting and or attending virtually.

Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers and win prizes while walking your way up the Leaderboard. A gift card of $250 will be awarded at random in three categories:

40K steps
60K steps
80K steps

All participants can track their steps using their own Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their own iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit.

Windy City Welcome Reception

Saturday, October 4 | 7:00–9:00 pm

All Clinical Congress attendees and their families are invited to join us during our new Saturday evening Welcome Reception. This event will blend Chicago’s renowned cuisine, vibrant culture, and stunning skyline with a celebration of the House of Surgery. It’s a perfect opportunity for surgeons in all disciplines to come together, enjoy camaraderie, and celebrate surgical excellence.

The new Welcome Reception combines the Saturday President’s Reception and Taste of the City, previously held on Tuesday.

Registration is not required for the Welcome Reception.
