Didactic, Surgical Skills, and Meet-the-Expert Sessions Offer Results-Oriented Learning

October 19, 2024

This year’s Didactic and Surgical Skills Courses, along with the Meet-the-Expert Sessions provide an extensive range of customized educational opportunities for surgeon leaders and learners at every career level and for the entire surgical team.

If you haven’t already registered for the Didactic and Surgical Skills Courses or the Meet-the-Expert Sessions, you can do so at facs.org/clincon2024 or onsite at the registration desk. Both offerings are ticketed and require a separate fee in addition to registering for the meeting. Participation is limited and seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Didactic and Surgical Skills Courses

Didactic and Surgical Skills Courses will focus on the acquisition of knowledge and skills through best practices in education and training methods. Special certificates will be offered for successful completion of the courses in order to support the professional activities of attendees.

Topics include:

  • DC02: Global Health Competencies for Surgeons: Key Concepts, Evidence, and Practical Approaches for Responsible and Effective Engagement
  • DC03: Inclusive Excellence Certificate Course
  • DC06: General Surgery Review Course
